At select times of the year we offer our individually designed bedrooms on a room-only basis, perfect for individuals and couples. Our next availability is October 2026.

 

Our room-only option offers simple and unfussy stays in the heart of the Lake District.  We don’t serve breakfast so you are free to head out on your adventure early or indulge in a lie-in and head into town for brunch. Want to bring your own breakfast? Or bring a takeaway back in the evening? We have a large dining room with fridge, plates and cutlery for you to use throughout your stay.

 

Check-in is between 4pm – 7pm but if you are arriving late our rooms feature a self-check in service. Enjoy stunning views, a central location, and private parking. Each room has its own en-suite or private bathroom.

Room-only accommodation

Room 1 – Sleeps 1

Single en-suite room between the ground and first floor with views of Skiddaw and Blencathra.

Room 2 – Sleeps 2

A flexible en-suite room with superking sized bed or twin beds. This room is located on the first floor and is north-facing, so has views of Skiddaw and Blencathra.

Room 3 – Sleeps 2

A flexible en-suite room with superking sized bed or twin beds. This room is located on the first floor and is south-facing, so has views of the Newlands Fells.

En suite room, with super-king size bed, located on the second floor with views of Skiddaw and Blencathra.

This flexible en-suite room has a superking-size bed or twin beds.  The room also has a daybed which is suitable for a child under 18.  This rooms is located on the second floor and is south facing, so has views of the Newlands Fells.

Single room with private bathroom on the adjacent half landing.  Located on the second floor with views of the Newlands Fells.
